Canadians have traditionally been willing to help when possible and Hourglass is not alone. Many companies, municipalities and institutions have helped by supplying such items as hospital beds, ambulances, crutches and a myriad of miscellaneous necessities, even a fire truck.
Dr.
Roberts efforts, beginning with the building of a hospital in the mid
1950’s, and subsequently coordinating more than 50 shipments of donated
supplies of all kinds has earned him the distinction of being recognized
as an “Honourary Citizen of
Eagle
Coach Company’s 2006 Alternative on display by
